Farmula Fest was born from a small private farm party held in 2011. When owners of Soundlink Studio, Jacob Doherty and Kyle Schultz attended, they realized the feeling and atmosphere needed to be captured and brought to the masses! They knew the experience did nothing but bring joy and happiness to everyone in attendance. The next year Soundlink Studio went to work. Through their marketing ability, commercial video production company, and small record label, Soundlink Studio brought a brand and a name to that party. In doing so they raised the attendance from about 50 people to 400 people via private invitations. Over the next few years they decided to invest into the Fest by adding a stage, lighting, and bands as well as activities and fireworks. This drove the attendance up to 800 people at its peak still utilizing private invitations. This marked the inevitable outgrowing of the private land being used. After a three year hiatus with the brand and the “Farmulites” still intact, Soundlink Studio and Live Loud Concerts has brought back Farmula Fest like no one has ever seen before, with a new location, a public welcome and the same old farm party values. However, only playing the music of Pink Floyd wasn’t enough. One acoustic performance of a montage of Floyd tunes lead to the formation of a Pink Floyd tribute night at Piere’s nightclub in Fort Wayne, IN. This tribute required the birth of the tribute band Earthbound Misfits. A single performance still did not seem to satisfy his need to pay tribute. A follow-up performance by Earthbound Misfits occurred several months later (now including Daniel Fisher). Fisher then spent 2 years touring Europe with the 84th Army Band followed by 2 years across the United States with the “US Army Rock Band”. After the Army, Daniel received dual degrees in “Music Synthesis” and “Music Production & Engineering” from Berklee College in Boston. He holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music from Northern Illinois University where he studied with Fareed Haque. He is a Music Professor at the University of Saint Francis, where he teaches Music Theory, Ear Training, and Piano, as well as Guitar, Jazz Ensemble, and Electronic Music Ensemble. Phil has been playing professionally since the age of 17 and has played throughout the United States and Europe, sharing the stage with such artists as Fareed Haque, Greg Ward, Nick Roth (Yurodny Ensemble), and Bolokada Conde. In 2017, he signed with the Chicago-based Ears&Eyes label, releasing his albums "Echoes of the Ancestors" and "the Waters Above" (2018). Echoes received airplay in North and South America, as well as Europe, and was reviewed in the internationally acclaimed jazz magazine, Jazziz. Growing up in the greater Youngstown-Cleveland area, she found her voice at an early age singing in the youth and adult choirs in church, and high school musical performances. Having many mentors and teachers around who encouraged her to cultivate the raw talent and was quickly forged into the dynamic voice that you hear today. Lisa relocated to the Fort Wayne Indiana area in the mid-1990s leaving behind a successful acting career doing regional theater at the famous Youngstown Playhouse located in Youngstown: the famous center of the steel production region. Once in Fort Wayne, she found the Civic Theater stage, and appeared in numerous musical productions including playing the lead roles as “Dorothy” in The Wiz and “The Narrator” in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat for which she was honored as best female vocal performance in a musical twice. Lisa is also a classically trained vocalist. Along with singing pop, rock, R&B, she is no stranger at singing classical arias by Mozart or Brahms. Evan is a graduate of IPFW with a bachelor degree in vocal performance specifically in the area of classical/opera. Immediately after graduation he entered the live performance scene and has since performed with multiple classical, modern and contemporary musical acts across the Midwest, ranging from regional bands to national acts. These groups include the Fort Wayne philharmonic, 4 Clicks North, Fort Wayne Funk Orchestra, Good Night Gracie, Project Indigo, The Wait, The Homies, A Night to Remember, Voices of Unity Choir, YM3 music group, The OG Band, FM a Tribute to Steely Dan, and now Pink Droyd. Throughout his unique career he has also performed with and opened for a variety of national acts such as: Rob Base, C+C Music Factory, Young MC, Sidewalk Chalk, The Lique, Chuckie Campbell and the Black Den, The Millennia (Prince’s background singers), and more. Along with being an accomplished live performer Evan is also a well versed song writer, and studio musician. He has written for several of the groups with whom he has performed, such as 4 Clicks North, The Homies, Project Indigo, and the Wait. Most notably Evan was commissioned by the Allen County Superior Court to write a song for National Adoption Day in 2017. “Shine” was then distributed to courts around the nation as the official and national song of National adoption day in 2017. He started playing the cello at just 8 years old, eventually progressing to the bass guitar at 14, guitar at 15, and piano at 21. He has an extensive history of playing all styles of music from jazz to traditional latin church music. He credits a large part of his musical development to his experience learning music in arts-magnet elementary and middle schools, as well as the fantastic music program at North Side High School in Fort Wayne, IN. By day, he works as a music therapist serving mostly individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, and has always been passionate about using his talents for the betterment of others. By night, he works as a freelance bassist frequently playing in musical theatre pit orchestras, weddings, record dates, wallpaper jazz gigs, and Pink Droyd shows! Trevor's love of Pink Floyd goes back to his Dad, who regaled him with stories of his time in the military, where he woke up his army barracks by playing the intro to "Time" at full blast on his speakers. The music of Pink Floyd was always playing in the house and in the car, with "Animals" being the most frequently played. At the studios he found himself surrounded by the top artists of the day and it wasn’t long before he found himself on the road as a Monitor engineer, Keyboard and Drum technician for artists such as Roberta Flack, Bad Company, Damn Yankees, Joan Jett, Blondie, Meat Loaf, The Zappa Band and Todd Rundgren to name a few. Randy spent the next 30+ years honing his craft while playing "Understudy" too all the drummers he was working for. "I had the best job in the world. I had to watch famous drummers play all night. After a while you pick up a few things. It's amazing what happens when you pay attention!"
